Incoming activity to BUD: BSc student Milan Petrović from Faculty of Mining and Geology, Belgrade University (Serbia)

For me, the most important achievement of the awarded exchange was opportunity to learn newly applied methods in hydrogeology, which haven’t been developed at my faculty yet. Lectures from radionuclide isotopes and lab work where the spectrophotometers had been applied were exceptionally useful. Also I’ve got a new experience from a field lectures at Buda Thermal Karst, where we had been exploring thermal springs at the Buda part of the city. On the other hand, I’ve improved my writing skills after had been composing few essays related to Geothermal energy and MAR (Manage aquifer recharge) systems. Social part of the studying, which is highly important to me, was on satisfying level, primarly because I was a part of an international group where I could have attended English lectures, likewise every member of the ‘team’ was open minded and voluntary for help, too.

It was generally impressive experience of to meeting a lot of open-minded, extrovert and liberal people without prejudices, which gave me propellent energy and will for progress and enhance even more. I’m definitely coming home with positive impressions and improved knowledge.
