At III Congress of Geologists of Bosnia and Herzegovina, held in Neum, (September 20-23, 2023) EURO Geo-Sci was introduced to geologists of the region by local coordinator from University of Tuzla, Prof. Elvir Babajić, and network coordinator, Prof. Kristina Šarić from University of Belgrade. They gave a presentation about 24 years of continuous existence of the Network, emphasising both successes and weaknesses, with optimistic view to the future. The coordinators underlined the importance of geological education and its contribution to society, reminding that geology is present during solving many problems, such as landslides, earthquakes, water resources, mining, environment protection etc.
