Among 150 participants and/or authors of the published abstracts and papers in the Congress publications, there were more than 20% those who were engaged with EURO Geo-Sci during their student and/or teacher activities. For example, plenary talk was given by Prof. Bruno Tomljenović from Zagreb University who will travel soon to Tirana in the frame of the Network. Very good presentation was done by Master student Selma Ćatić from University of Tuzla who will spend her CEEPUS mobility to Zagreb. You can also find the names of former coordinators, such as Prof. Marian Putiš (Bratislava) and Academician Vladica Cvetković (Belgrade), and all active coordinators whose paper about EURO Geo-Sci is publish in the Congress volume. Dr. Aleš Vršič, Dr. Tomislav Brenko, Dr. Branislav Petrović, Dr. Veljko Marinović and Dr. Bojan Kostić were the Network student mobility holders. We also “met” Prof. Ladislav Palinkaš, Dr. Ana Mladenović, Dr. Dejan Prelević, PhD student Natalija Batoćanin.
We believe that this short review confirms that EURO Geo-Sci gives a significant contribution to better understanding of the geology of the CEEPUS region.
