A brainstorming journey from theory to practice! That’s the best way to sum up Assoc. Prof. Orsolya Sztano’s visit to the Faculty of Mining and Geology, University of Belgrade. Following her course „Sedimentology: From Processes to Depositional Architecture,“ we took to the field across the Pannonian Basin. Sequence analysis was brought to life through outcrops near Smederevo, Mladenovac, Belgrade, and Fruška Gora. These geological records will soon find their place in the Master’s and Doctoral theses of our students. Most importantly, Professor Orsolya Sztanó promised to return.
