Networking with DEMONITOR – Incoming activity to BEL: BSc. student Anida Hrvić from Faculty of Mining, Geology and Civil Engineering, University of Tuzla (Bosnia and Herzegovina)

During the beginning of my semester, I had the privilege of spending a month in Belgrade, at the Faculty of Mining and Geology, University of Belgrade. It was an enriching experience immersed in a beautiful city surrounded by wonderful people and professors. Throughout my time there, I delved deeper into the realms of geology and geotechnics, a field I plan to pursue further in my education. Participating in two fieldwork sessions provided me with invaluable hands-on experience, particularly with lidar technology and inclinometers. These practical exercises were immensely beneficial, especially as I aim to specialize in geotechnics. Additionally, attending petrography and GIS lectures expanded my knowledge base, crucial for any aspiring geologist, regardless of their chosen specialization. The scholarship provided for the CEEPUS exchange proved to be invaluable, covering all expenses and facilitating a seamless transition into academic life abroad. I am immensely grateful for this support, which allowed me to fully immerse myself in the experience without financial concerns. Overall, I wholeheartedly encourage fellow students to seize the opportunity to participate in a CEEPUS exchange. The benefits are boundless, and the experience is sure to leave a lasting impact on one’s academic and personal growth.
