In June 2023 Prof. Dr. H.-J. Gawlick performed in a field course in northern Hungary the lecture “carbonate sequence stratigraphy” for the university of Pecs (Hungary) based on the Triassic-Jurassic carbonate dominated sedimentary sequence. A group of nearly 20 international participants participated in the field course. Pictures show the group visiting outcrops in the forests and the exhibition “Aggtelek geological garden” during a rainy period.
