I am Ilva Mërkuri, a bachelor’s student in Geoinformatics Engineering at the Faculty of Geology and Mining, Albania. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to learn as a short-term student at the University of Vienna, for one month (March 2023). I enjoyed my stay here because I got new knowledge from lectures at the University of Vienna, could meet many new friends, and learned many various experiences of life in several aspects of this country. During this month I attended various lectures and several laboratory hours. I followed subjects like Geographical Predictive Analytics, Location Privacy, Calcareous Nannofossils etc. I felt very well welcomed by the students and professors. I would like to thank EURO Geo-Sci as part of the CEEPUS network for giving me the opportunity to study at the University of Vienna. I am sure that this experience and the knowledge I got here will be precious to me in the future. I hope in the future I will have the possibility to come back to the University of Vienna within the CEEPUS framework.
