Dr Jeton Pekmezi spent his mobility at the Technical University in Košice Faculty BERG, Institute of Geosciences. During this visit (end of October – beginning of November 2022), he gave a short course on applying GIS in Underground Mining, Orebody Modeling and Resource Estimation, and Open Pit surveying using drone technology. He joined a field course with Sebastian Hreus in an abandoned mine represented by hydrothermal quartz-carbonate veins with Co, Ni and Cu sulphides/arsenides/sulfoarsenides hosted in a complex of metamorphic rocks, in the Zemberg-Terézia vein system, Dobšiná mining district, Košice Region, Slovakia.
