Prof. Barbara Čenčur Curk had successful work with students, young researchers and colleagues from Dept. of Hydrogeology. Special attention was giving to work with Veljko Marinović, PhD student, who is in the final year of his PhD studies. During this visit, the following topics were opened: (a) assessment of karst groundwater quantity and sustainability of karst groundwater used for human consumption (in the form of presentations and interpretations of the existing data) and (b) assessment of karst groundwater vulnerability, hazard and risk to pollution in the form of a field work to one of the investigated areas of Veljko Marinović’s PhD study – the Mlava karst spring in Žagubica, Eastern Serbia, where discussions were held at the field and field measurements and sampling of spring water were carried out. The latter was conducted also in the Krupaja and Belosavac karst springs.
