During May 2022 (10 – 30.05.2022), Dr. Ana Mladenović (FMG-UB) visited the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Mining, Geology and Petroleum Engineering. At this faculty, she was involved in the MSc course: “Tectonic Geomorphology”, where she gave a lecture about active tectonics in the central part of the Balkan Peninsula, as well as about the methodology of studying neotectonically active faults in karst caves located in eastern Serbia.
Apart of that, Dr. Mladenović had also assisted and supervised MSc students who were doing their field work in the area of Petrinja, which was damaged by the earthquake in December 2020, as well as in the area of the Plitvice National Park, where they were investigating tectonic structures inside karst caves.
