Prof. H-J. Gawlick split his activities into several parts:
- he gave a course: “Siliceous sedimentary rocks – theoretical background, look for thin sections, determine radiolarian sample”,
- he had field work with the common PhD students Milica Mrdak and Marija Vuletić;
- he had fruitful consultations for all students and teachers interested in Sedimentology of the Alpine-Dinaride belt.
