During my CEEPUS exchange at the Paris Lodron University of Salzburg, I had the invaluable opportunity to participate in a collaborative research project focused on enhanced weathering, which proved to be both educational and intellectually stimulating. Throughout this process, I delved into the intricacies of enhanced basalt weathering, an area I was previously unfamiliar with, and gained valuable insight and knowledge. The exchange also gave me access to state-of-the-art laboratory facilities, including specialized equipment such as laboratories for Helium dating, which are not available at my home institution. Beyond the academic aspect, the most rewarding part of my exchange was the enriching cultural experience of living in another country for a month and making new friends. The colleagues at the University of Salzburg were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay, and I learned a lot from them. I am also very excited about the prospect of working with them in the future. Overall, my time in Salzburg was exceptional, and I can confidently say that my CEEPUS exchange was a transformative experience that broadened my academic horizons while enhancing my personal and professional growth.
