Dr. V. Karadi gave a field course entitled: “Characteristic features of Middle and Late Triassic conodont bearing successions”. The field course (10 days) of Dr. Viktor Karadi was held in northern Montenegro with BSc, MSc and PhD students from the Montanuniversitaet Leoben and the University of Belgrade together with Prof. Dr. Hans-J\u00fcrgen Gawlick (Leoben).<\/p>\n

The picture shows characteristic Late Triassic conodont bearing successions and the young scientists learn how to detect age relevant organisms including conodonts, reconstruct the depositional environment and how regional and global events can be recognized in the sedimentological record.<\/p>\n\n
